The mission of Extended Campus at The University of Texas at Austin is to enhance the university’s impact by expanding access to a first-class education to a broad range of students in order to promote lifelong learning while addressing economic and workforce development needs in Texas and beyond.
To help fulfill its mission, the Extended Campus (EC) website serves as a gateway to continuing and professional education opportunities at The University of Texas at Austin. The site features UT Austin programs that are built on outstanding academic research and designed to equip learners with immediately relevant, career-advancing skills.
Working with Extended Campus
For departments offering continuing and professional education programs at UT Austin, there are multiple ways to amplify your program's visibility and reach using the Extended Campus website.
List Your Program
The program finder is the focal point of the Extended Campus gateway. This lists all of the continuing and professional education offerings that UT Austin colleges, schools and units provide to the general public, whether with or without an application process. Extended Campus works to amplify the traffic to each program's site by promoting the program finder to a broad audience.

Feature Your Free Events
The gateway has a page dedicated to upcoming free events that are hosted by UT Austin departments. Many of these events are information sessions about academic or certificate programs, but other free events offered by continuing and professional education programs are eligible for inclusion, too.
